New Furniture For CCC’s Columbia Hall With Donation From Clatsop Community Bank
On Monday, March 22nd, Clatsop Community College Board Member Dirk Rohne and Steve Fick, CCC Foundation President, accepted a check for $1,000 from Steve Ferber of Clatsop Community Bank. The donation is in response to the Student Commons Fund fundraising campaign to purchase new furniture for the commons area in CCC’s newly completed Columbia Hall.
Columbia Hall is designed with students in mind. Common and more private seating areas are incorporated throughout the building giving students a place where they may socialize or study, either in groups or more privately, while enjoying the natural surroundings. Donations to the Student Commons Fund will help to purchase new furniture for the building, allowing students to fully and comfortably utilize the space.
