College Announces Additional Candidate |
From: Caitlin Wright Clatsop Community College CCC Board of Directors selects additional candidate for consideration for CCC President Stephen Schoonmaker has been added to the list of semi-finalists for the position of CCC President. Schoonmaker resides in Astoria, Oregon and is currently the Vice President of Instruction with Clatsop Community College. Previously, Schoonmaker held the position of Vice President of Instruction and Student Services at Southwestern Oregon Community College in Coos Bay, and Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences at what is now known as Central New Mexico Community College, located in Albuquerque. Schoonmaker holds an Ed.D. in Educational Administration from New Mexico State University. Schoonmaker joins the other semi-finalists, Sara Burns, Larry Galizio, Shirley Metcalf, Joseph Olson and James Sorenson who will be participating in an initial round of interviews with the CCC Board the first week of May. Candidate Richard MacLennan has withdrawn his name from further consideration as a semi-finalist.
