From: Caitlin Wright Clatsop Community College Transportation Customer Service Skills Available In November As Part Of Clatsop Community College’s Professional Truck Driving Certificate Training Program In November, Clatsop Community College (CCC) will offer Transportation Customer Service Skills (TTL 141, CRN #1511). TTL 141 is part of the required course-work for the Professional Truck Driving Certificate training program. Others in the transportation industry seeking to increase their employability and workforce performance skills will also benefit from participating in this course as a non-degree seeking student. The class meets at CCC’s MERTS campus on Wednesdays (Nov. 4th, 18th, and Dec. 2nd) from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays (Nov. 7th, 21st, and Dec. 5th) from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. TTL 141 is a 3-credit course and tuition and fees are $250.00. The CCC MERTS campus is ADA accessible. Students enrolled in TTL 141 build the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed for delivering outstanding transportation customer service, employing public relation skills, applying effective listening skills, resolving conflict, and using on-board communication devices. Students identify external and internal customers, learn to handle potentially unproductive interactions, and create positive outcomes for all customers.
