From: Nadine Faith Clatsop Community College November 2008 Bond Measure Passes Clatsop Community College is grateful to the people of Clatsop County for passing the bond measure that will ensure completion of the Jerome Campus Redevelopment Project. “We could not be more happy with this outcome,” says Dr. Greg Hamann, the College’s President. “We have always known that the people of Clatsop County care about the services the College provides and clearly we have now offered the people the right opportunity to show their support in a tangible way.” Hamann also expressed gratitude to the bond campaign committee, chaired by Dr. Marilyn Lane, and the many community members, faculty, staff, and students whose efforts in support of the bond brought about this successful outcome. Passage of Measure 4-133 provides the critical “local match” required for some of the funding the College has already secured for the project. Total funding for the project comes from a unique combination of private and public sources, both local and statewide.
