From: Caitlin Wright Clatsop Community College Julie Taymor’s Film, Across The Universe, To Be Shown At CCC's PAC: Food Bank Donations Welcome! Clatsop Community College (CCC) would like to invite the community for a celebration of Beatle's music and Julie Taymor's new film: Across the Universe on Monday, December 1st, 2008 at CCC’s Performing Arts Center (PAC), 16th and Franklin, in Astoria from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. River Theatre Director and past CCC Theatre Dept. Chair, Karen Bain MFA University of Oregon, will introduce the film and the work of Director Julie Taymor. Some of Taymor’s other films include: The Lion King, Titus Andronicus, and Frida Kahlo. This event is free and open to the public. However, a suggested donation of a can of food for our local bank is appreciated.
