From: Caitlin Wright Clatsop Community College Join the RAIN Community! RAIN Magazine, Clatsop Community College's literary publication, is accepting submissions now through January 1, 2009 for the Spring 2009 edition. RAIN Magazine is proud of its 40-year history publishing the art and literature of our talented coastal community. The magazine welcomes submissions from the general public as well as CCC students. This year's publication has no particular theme; however, we particularly enjoy selections that capture the region's unique sense of place and community. Please submit no more than 10 pages of prose, three poems, three digital photos or high quality JPGS of original artwork. We can only print a limited number of color images; if you choose to submit color images, please indicate if you would allow the image to be printed in B&W. Include name, address, phone number, e-mail address and a brief bio (2-3 sentences) with all entries. Include a SASE for return of manuscripts. Otherwise, we will recycle them. Online submissions are welcome and encouraged if submitted as a WORD or JPEG attachment; email to ncook@clatsopcc.edu.
