From: Caitlin Wright Clatsop Community College CCC Enters Into Negotiations With P&C Construction Company For Jerome Campus Redevelopment Project (JCRP) Clatsop Community College is pleased to announce that the College Board of Directors has authorized the College President and key JCRP staff to enter into contract negotiations with P&C Construction Company (P&C) for Construction/Management (CM/GC) services for the Jerome Campus Redevelopment Project (JCRP). The decision was made during the August 13th, 2008 Board of Directors meeting. For over 40 years, P&C of Gresham, OR has fostered an extensive background in the renovation and construction of Educational facilities. They are committed to clear communication and guidance with their customers as a means of completing a project on schedule and on budget. It is also through their thorough understanding of the construction industry in the Pacific Northwest that P&C helps customers achieve their project goals. The company has recently completed the Medical Office Building for Columbia Memorial Hospital. Some of their other projects include the construction of the coastal Neah-Kah-Nie Middle School and high school renovation. They have also done historic renovations on buildings such as the Porter and Telegram Buildings in Portland, OR and they completed the expansion on the Timberline Palmer Chair Lift at Mt. Hood. “P&C was chosen as the recommendation of the College's JCRP CM/GC selection committee to the College Board of Directors following the detailed review and interview process of the firms responding to our Request for Proposals issued in June,” says Al Jaques, JCRP Project Manager.
